Eric T. Day holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice Administration and an M.Ed. in Counseling. He served in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Alabama for over 30 years, holding key roles in law enforcement coordination, victim advocacy, and public information. Prior to that, he worked with the Mobile County Sheriff's Department, overseeing various programs, including victim services and corrections, and also served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. His contributions extend internationally, providing victim training in Kosovo and Albania and engaging in missionary work in India. He played a pivotal role in crime prevention initiatives such as the Weed and Seed program and Prison Reentry Program, earning numerous awards, including the Eric T. Day Trailblazer-Hero Award, and has served on multiple civic and professional boards. Additionally, he is the Founding Pastor of A New Day Christian Ministries, Inc., demonstrating his commitment to both public service and faith-based leadership.
